The 231 Coastal Explorer features Grady-White’s SeaV2 hull. The boat is designed for fishing shallow waters as well as for families wanting to relax on the water. The 231 CE boasts two expansive fore and aft casting platforms, 19 rod holders, and a 277-quart fish box below the bow deck. Molded steps on both sides offer easy access to the bow. Other features include a deluxe leaning bar with a 25-gallon livewell under the starboard seat and storage for four tackle trays. Aft seating lets you keep the backrests in the forward position for sitting down, pivot them back for access to the aft platform, or swing them forward as a handhold when reboarding from the four-step portside ladder. The power-adjustable backrests enhance comfort when using the bow lounges and sun pad. A freshwater pullout shower and raw-water washdown are standard. The console seat includes a 29-quart cooler below, and inside the console is a stand-up head. The helm fits two 12-inch MFDs and is shaded by a T-top with an integrated acrylic windshield. Standard power is a single Yamaha 250 hp outboard engine.
